Another hit… This one took me right back to a little restaurant in San Sebastián where I enjoyed a wonderful meal of champiñones y paloma y bacalao–in my case it was cod–followed by trufas de chocolate and conversation with the genial owners. Oh, how you make me nostalgic! Thanks & keep up the good work!

Hi Ben,

Thank you so much for doing what you do! When I went searching for podcasts about Spain I never thought I’d find such a gem. I loved this one about cuisine. Please do MORE about the food. I’m going to Spain for my first ever visit in November, and I can’t wait. Your casts have given me lots of ideas for things to do that I couldn’t have found in any travel guide.

Just getting through all the podcasts after discovering them a few days ago and this Podcast 16 from the Basque gastronomic society was truly superb. I know the region well and I just could feel myself there instead of in drizzly miserable London. Thanks so much for this although I feel a bit depressed now - maybe the podcasts should come with a health warning! By the way, I’d also recommend the next town along called Guetaria.

Glad you liked this one! We did make it round to Guetaria but unfortunately didn’t manage to podcast it - lovely place though.
