this mis-quotation is an horrendous mis-use of journalistic license. I roundly condemn Mr Curtis for his opportunistic, headline-grabbing contamination of the bloggers art. Shame on you.
The fact that he has he has a record of the quote, in print, means nothing.

I am shamed. BTW, my espanish wife would have titled this blog entry ‘English Humour’. And I should like to add that I know JH of London personally, and believe that, in his original statement about the London Underground, he was only Joshing with me.
