Errant in Iberia

This book covers my (Ben’s) first three years in Spain, from my reasons for escaping the UK, to how I met Marina, and a few other ‘intercambios’ along the way, and the first journeys to unknown corners of the country.
Discover wild fiestas, strange confrontations with Spanish culture and family life, the renovation of a decrepit flat in Madrid’s old quarter, and an intimate portrait of Lavapies, a traditional inner city ‘Barrio’.

Any chance you will be putting your book to audio?

Well, I tried once before, reading it cold at home, and didn’t get too far, it felt too flat compared to the podcasts. But Marina has pursuaded me to give it another go one day, and next time I’m going to try something different… watch this space.

It was quite enjoyable. It kind of made wonder if I was adventurous enough in my life. I think it would make a great audio book.

When is the sequel coming out? Marina are you writing one from your perspective?

You guys are creating a _From Spain empire!

    Good Luck!

Yes, the empire is growing! No sign of a sequel just yet I’m afraid… or Marina’s version!
