We have decided to merge Cuisine from Spain, Notes in Spanish and Books on Spain back into Notesfromspain.com. Both the Cuisine and the Spanish podcasts will carry on as before, with their own podcast feeds, but all posts, comments etc for these two shows will now be posted here along with the Notes from Spain podcasts.
I know that it was only recently that we seperated these off into their own sites, but we decided that having three or four different sites running was too confusing, and a lot of hard work. It makes much more sense to centralise everything here, into one big wonderful site about Spain, with three different podcasts and loads of exciting news, food and views from Spain.
This ties in with a new look for Notesfromspain.com, designed to liven the site up and make all the different sections more accessible. We hope you like it!

It looks very professional, as well as active, this way. Surely you cannot keep up this enthusiasm
Minor niggles – I am not a fan of animations (distracting and uses CPU power) and you might want to correct the typo (Fourm).

Thanks! Both points taken and acted upon, I agree about the distraction of animations…

The re-integration is a good idea.
Not sure about the two columns of stuff rather than one though, I think the stuff on the left would sit comfortably between the Search and the Google Ads. You’d be scrolling down far enough to see the ads anyway.

Hi Ben and Marina,
It’s a good idea to move the sites back together otherwise you guys will be overworked and losing the plot ;-0
As I have only started looking at your site over the last month, would you be able to give me a tip for going back to the previous postings without needing to click ‘previous’ too many times? Is there some kind of contents page somewhere – with titles only linked to the entries- so I can browse your site content quickly?
As I am currently listening to the podcasts chronologically (am on podcast 20) and I really like going to the postings on the site to see the pictures, your text, the comments etc…
Let me know. (Cultural differences, hey, don’t tell me: I am French and my partner is English. Oh la la la la….)

Decree, the extra column isn’t just about google ads, we have lots of ideas for that space in the future, and it’s nice to be able to see more when the page first appears. Hence the narrower banner too.
Alice, there isn’t a contents page like that yet, but I think it ought to be done some time, definitely. You can search for the number you want for now, so if you just finished listening to 20, then put 21 into the search box, hit enter and it should come up.
