    Really like the photo with the 2 ‘more mature’ ladies in the middle of the line of people with their backs to the camera looking at the screen. Could almost be a statement about the inclusiveness of Spanish life. Great pics yet again, good to have our own correspondent capturing the mood in Madrid now!

    So many positives in that picture! The first words I heard this morning as I was coming round were, “Ben’s taken some great photos of people watching the football in Madrid last night, there’s one with 2 old ladies in the middle…”.

    Exhibition type stuff, for me anyway, including the little girl with her grandmother. so beautiful that photo.

    The atmosphere in England is teriffic too,if not a little bit manic!
    What do you think about the possibility of Sven Ericksson becoming Real Madrid’s head coach next season?(loved the Champions League podcast,by the way)
    ps.How is Marina coping with the World Cup?

    Sven at Real Madrid? I hope not! I find him totally lacking in charm or real enthusiasm… but let’s see how England do in the world cup in the end first!
    Marina is not keen on football being broadcast on the tv at home… let’s just leave it at that ;)
