An emotional radio piece on ageing Brigadistas that came over to fight against facists in the Spanish civil war.
I’ve said it many times before, but if you want to read a good book on the Spanish Civil War, then look no further than Orwell’s Homage to Catalonia.

Yes, very emocional. They were fighting against fascism but they were themselves stalinists that means left fascists. Wonderful lovers of the Gulag. Yes, very emocional. Dan ganas de vomitar…

Perhaps, that’s only a question of likes and dislikes, but I couldn’t ever support mass murderers and followers of bloody dictatorships as it seems you do. What’s next here? A
Plaidoyer for Kim Dae-jung, a love letter to Fidel or a prayse of the chinese economic growth or a yes to iranian atom bomb?

Your comment is so missplaced in this context that it cant be anything else then a cry for attention
It is amazing that some peolpe even today has the mccarthy- view on communism.

Catch up Stanley Payne’s books on the Spanish Civil War or the Spanish II Republic http://yalepress.yale.edu/yupbooks/book.asp?isbn=0300110650 and you will see things a little bit different.

Cesar’s condition has not changed: constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth.

I feel honoured by so much equanimity from the owner of this site. My points of view might be different and I don’t expect anyone to agree but I do expect a little bit of leadership by your side, Ben. I think ValenciaSon has gone too far and if you allow such comments about me, I prefer to spend my time with other blogs. If you are so kind, please, let me know. Gracias.

Cesar, guapo, what kind of responses do you honestly expect when you are consistently negative, aggressive, rude etc?

I might be aggressive and from your point of view negative, but I haven’t ever been rude.
The comments about myself doesn’t bother me much, it is only so boring and I just don’t want to waste my time. If you think my aggressive tone is too much for your site, let me know and I can say adiós and cada uno en su casa y Dios en la de todos.

So you can go on with no critical voice to the general sugar-candy comments.

You know we like having you here really, but you will have to decide for yourself whether you’d like to stick around or not.
