Hi Ben. I just listened to your last NFS podcast. The quality was very crisp and I always love the stereo effect from the microphones.
I finally managed to find an iriver ifp 8xx recorder and I have some sound prof. microphones (high sensitivity).
What do you suggest as a microphone input level for talking inside/ outside? Any do you haev advice against wind noise?

    Hi Alex,

I think my recorder is set to 52 for inside and outside, but trial and error is the way forward. As for wind noise, avoiding wind is the only real hope! You may be able to buy extra wind sheilding foam as well I suppose to strap around the mics…
