Anyone for a Scorpion Lolly?

I know the Spanish are supposed to have invented the lolly pop, but isn’t this going too far? They’ll sell anything in Barcelona’s Boqueria Market!

Wow, suppose there is still some poison left in the sting!!! South African meerkats ( members of the mongoose family) eat scorpions alive and devour them whole – sting and all – without being hurt in any way. I bet the meerkats would love these very special lollipops. But I have never heard about meerkats in Spain. :D

Amazing! And here I thought scorpions were reserved for alcohol only.

Photo pinned up on notice board at work. Arabs are now convinced that the Spanish are mad. But such little scopions. They must be babies.

Bark scorpions from Arizona are tiny like that, but they can give you a quite nasty sting.
