Despite being declared illegal a couple of years ago, the Botellón (youngsters gathering in the street to get drunk and have a good time), refuses to go away. Nueveochotres, a group of kids from Valladolid, have made a great video about the phenomenon:

I went to Valladolid for my exchange and we did the botellon thing in her pueblo. I thought it was really good. One of the neighbours came out to warn us not to get too loud but that was it, and my exchange apologised and stuff. We weren’t loud, or distruptive, we took our rubbish with us and we didn’t have music. What’s the problem?! It was fun…
