While they were busy having gang wars (when did Spain get like this ?!) in the suburbs of Madrid this weekend, in Barcelona they decided to make one hell of a statement against fur coats!

Blimey! Didn’t see this! I’m for the cause, but too extreme for my taste.

I find it interesting that they go to such lengths to make a statement, to then cover up their delicates, almost awkwardly. Most have conveniently placed their hands and legs to remain discreet.
If I were to go this far, I think I’d lay there with my legs splayed. ha!

Can you imagine if one of the protesters showed up on the wrong date?:)

I think it’s very strange that there are Latin Kings in Spain. This is a great book about someone who grew up in the Latin Kings in Chicago. http://www.amazon.com/My-Bloody-Life-Making-Latin/dp/1556524013
I highly recommend this book especially if you are from chicago. It is about the author’s life of growing up in the gangs and then trying to get out.

I think the Latin Kings arrived from South America… it has certainly changed the social landscape of some of the barrios of Madrid…
