    i wrote about this before, thinking it was ironic that the erc (nationalist separatist party in catalunya) were also the ones who came out against the erotic film festival here.

    actually son’s first porno was dedicated to carod rovira (the nationalist/separatist leader):

    "a carod, catalí  més trempat”

    which basically means “carod, the hardest/horniest catalan”. not only that … i’m trying to uncover this myself, but i have inside industry contacts who tell me that his first movie, les excursionistes calentes, which was hardcore porno, not lightweight “woman-focused” erotica, also received subsidies from the catalan regional government. he claimed to have used the loophole which allowed subsidies for movies “in catalan” because no one had even thought, at the time, that someone would ask for subsidies for a porno. no one has written about this yet. and it shows the absurd lengths people will go to who are trapped in an ideology, and that son is really just an interesado, or opportunist

    Not only are the ridiculous nationalist ERC promoting porn they’re also trying to include Cataluña as a seperate sports team for no more nor less the International Olympic Committee! That’s spending our taxes wisely. The proposal fell on its face so now ERC wants olympic games for countries without status. Can someone tell me how this is going to bring economic stability to the area?

    Would the world end if Catalonia had its own team? No.
