The Spanish royal family is under attack over their financial affairs.

“House prices in Spain have risen at a faster pace than anywhere else in the eurozone over the past five years”… from the Guardian.

South of Watford suggests you take care if flying into Madrid Sur airport – could be an expensive mistake!

Off topic: Have a look at my great friend Tom’s website, Earthoria, from Thailand :)

The new airport was supposed to offer an alternative not only to Madrid, but to Seville and even Lisbon, as well. Speedy connection to Madrid was to be guaranteed with a new “Autobahn” (Toledo-Cordoba), but construction has been stopped for enviromental reasons – probably a first in Spain. Yet another private venture is the projected Murcia-Corvera airport, which makes sense as an alternative to Alicante, above all for those travelling to Torrevieja, ‘La Manga’ and the beaches of Almeria.

So in other words, it’s not so good to be the king (but still not so bad), I better hurry and buy that castillo before prices soar out beyond my range, but don’t show up at Madrid Sur or else I might as well go to Thailand.
