Stunning photo! I like the two "holes" in the sand, are those footsteps? - They create an interesting irregularity to the photo that catches the eyes.

What is that fence? It looks like poles stuck into the sand..?

[...] Taking the camera everywhere is definitely a good idea. This shot comes from Malasaña. Many new building projects are forced to maintain original facades, gutting the middle of an old building, and building from the inside out, temporarily revealing these fascinating empty shells.
Great picture indeed, very nice perspective.

In my humble opinion (I'm not a photo expert and I couldn't dream to take a picture like this myself) it would've been better without those two little holes (maybe footsteps) in the sand in the lower left half of the picture.

They somehow distract my attention as they make me focus on them. I think they somewhat spoil the wonderful assymetry of the picture.

Anyway just a personal oppinion for a great pic !!.

Lovely picture, it conjures up all sorts of thoughts. Intriguing I think is the word I am looking for. I have an old Canon Canonet that I load up with film and take it just about everywhere.

Everyone should always take a camera out with them.
Whenever I don't take mine, I always miss the most wonderful opportunities.
