We found that although we speak & understand a reasonable amount of spanish, its was a whole lot easier in our own language. You will pay slightly more and need to ensure you do your homework and get someone reputable but for me it was worth it. Basically you will just have to set yourself up as an autonomo, a freelancer. It's pretty easy, ...ish, just go to your local hacienda office and do everything they say! You will be sent to your local seguridad social office too, and they will tell you how you have to pay your 220ish euros a month for your social security cover. There are probably more steps, which I have forgotten, but in hacienda they will tell you everything you need to do. I will try and do this some time, but can’t promise when. I was in fits because as we all know, time is money! On the other hand, it took my daughter 6 weeks te set up her "Escuela de Arte" this year, she didn't use a gestor, but the Santander Chamber of Commerce did give her a good hand with the paper work.
