Hi Ben – am visiting Lanjaron at the end of May for a month but am arriving on a Sunday into Malaga and was wondering if you know if buses travel to Lanjaron frequently (if at all!) on a Sunday. I’m travelling with my 4 year old daughter so want to be more prepared then I used to be when I travelled along!! Thanks for your help. Patricia

What a wonderful podcast! I am setting off in the car for Lanjaron in a couple of days, to spend five weeks there with friends who moved there from Argentina, and I can’t wait to arrive. I last visited the area around Orgiva 10 years ago and fell in love with it!

Yes Edith. Several buses daily from Grana(One from Malaga). Approx 5 hours on bus from Madrid
and then change at same bus station in Granada for hour journey to Lanjaron

What a great podcast. Lanjaron seems to be a lovely little town and a nice place to live – imagine teleworking from there and being part of an eco-friendly international community! Granada, snow-capped sunny mountains, the Costa Tropical… it all sounds very appealing.

Interesting podcast & sounds like a fascinating area. We have good water here in Pego and a similar procession of cars with bottles from nearer the coast or out in the campo where it’s less palatable. The council has put street taps at various locations to facilitate this. You also find springs in the hills around here with their own devotees – but so far I’ve not found the spring of eternal youth
