OK, so the photos in the post below were not exactly illustrative of anything much other than how blue the sky is in Spain in November, and how great that is. So here are some November autumnal colours taken this week in the sunny Retiro park. An hour in there washes all one’s troubles away…

Now, the astute may have noticed some hanky-panky in the photo above. In case you missed it, here’s a sordid enlargement…

… you can’t miss this sort of thing in the park these days, and the above example is pretty mild! Most of these park-fondlers get pretty naughty under the trees, even if they do manage to stay fully clothed! Don’t youngsters have bedrooms to go and meter mano in these days?

I always found it interesting how much affection the Spaniards publically displayed and still considered it normal. Or maybe the anglosaxons are the ones that are just too uptight about displays of affection?

LOL, that could have been in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Or anywhere else in urban Holland. Once I saw a young couple ‘doing it’ in broad daylight, in a meadow near the Uithof (university campus) in Utrecht.

I guess living with parents longer means people have just got used to taking their luck where they find it! jeje
On a crowded beach this summer, I saw a couple literally going for it, hammer and tongue so to speak. Nobody on the beach even flinched (well, except them I suppose!)

Hmmm, I’m not placing blame or anything, but I think Ben might have jinxed us with all this talk of the gorgeous weather. After months of blue skies today is a 180 degree turn. Ah, well, it’ll make us appreciate those skies again when they return.

Pretty park photos! The leaves look crunchy and the sky crisp. If only I were with a lover in a Spanish park…
