Great show. I bought a Ramirez at the shop in Madrid. I live in Lisbon. It is strange because it is easier to get a Ramirez guitar in the States then here in Portugal. Great family, and everyone at the shop is wonderful. Jose Ramirez is really one of the nicest instruments, and a great cultural treasure in Spain.

I asked my Spanish brother-in-law (who is classical guitarist) about 10 years ago to tell me his favourite Spanish guitar artist. He then went out and bought me Maestro, Maestro (sus mejores interpretactiones) by Andres Segovia. Still very much enjoying it today. Available on Amazon. See

I think I saw Ramirez interviewed on TVE’s España Directo. As much as I love technology, it is also great to hear that classic craftsmanship is alive and thriving.
