Fabada asturiana is one of our favourite “winter warmer” dishes that we cook at home, when we can get the ingredients. Frequently we have to use substitutes such as butter beans, gammon, black pudding, chorizo and a some belly of pork. It still tastes great on a cold winter’s day!
Mmmmm Fabada. Takes me back to the Old Country of Asturias. Huge Menus del Día up there with Fabada from a tureen repeating as many times as you want too as one of four or five courses.
