"Did you know that the Nazis exterminated thousands of Spaniards during World War Two?"

My grandfather's brother ended up inside a nazi prisoner camp; he fled to France when the Spanish Civil War ended (he was an anarchist), and joined la résistance during the German occupation. Fortunately, he managed to survive until the end of the war, and was rescued by American soldiers.
But you know what? After defending France against the nazis, and after suffering for years in that camp, they didn't want to give him the French nationality and intended to deport him back to Spain... So he fled again, to Switzerland.

Guttenberg invented the printing press (with movable type) to allow the disemination of news and information. It was hailed as a great step forward. Now we have the internet, which is Gutenberg to the power of infinity(!). So another step forward. Some people obviously think the Gutenberg's idea is good enough! Talk about living in the past, poor souls.

Of course, he lived (and printed) just down the road from us...

... and by co-incidence, there will be a large biker camp there this spring: http://www.hubraum2009.de/

How about that for linking two NFS topics? ;-)
