During the conversation, there are a couple of times when I don't understand why Ben & Marina are using 'nos'. I thought 'nos' was an indirect pronoun for verbs like gustar, or reflexive verbs like dormirse.
...nos hizo muy buen tiempo
nos alojamos en el interior
sobre todo nos hemos relajado...
Or is it just an abbreviation of 'nosotros', obviously designed to confuse me?!
(sorry, can't make my keyboard do accents yet:confused:)

Nos hizo buen tiempo = The weather was good for us (perhaps better expressed as "We had good weather").
In this case it's because the Spanish use their indirect pronouns in a slightly different way. They can get away without using a preposition and in English we sometimes can't (depending on how we structure our phrase).
Other examples:
¿Me abres la puerta? Can you open the door for me?
Me robaron la cartera. My wallet was stolen from me. (I got my wallet stolen)
Hablar en español me cuesta mucho. Speaking in Spanish is quite hard for me.
In the case of "nos alojamos" it's because they're the ones staying in a place, not the ones providing lodging for other people. It's similar to "quedarse", used for "to stay (somewhere)".
"Nos hemos relajado" . . . the verb to relax is just "relajarse".
Hope this helps

Muchas gracias Grimace, that helps a lot, I need to get to grips with these pronouns (and I'm learning English grammar at the same time!)
