Primero felicidades para su pagina web, forum y podcasts... mi gusta mucho. Bueno... ahora voy escribir en ingles porque es mas comodo y rapido, lo siento.
I only found your podcasts today but I have really enjoyed my morning off listening to them. I´m also living in Madrid with my Spanish girlfriend and like yourself Ben, I had no idea of Spanish when I arrived 18 months ago. In fact I still haven´t started to study!!! I´ve just been learning like a child... hearing the spoken word and repeating. It´s been an experiment which I have to say has been a long process, but I think it works. Well certainly for comprehension and speakin, as I don´t write too well...he he he. So this is where I hope your podcasts and tapesripts will come in handy....
I look forward to speaking to you here on the forum...

I think learning like a child is acutally the most natural way to learn and probably the best, if one has the opportunity. However we hope that the spanish-pods help you to speed up the process;-)
