Ben and Marina,
I think it would be nice to see an up to date photograph of the two of you together so that the listeners of the podcasts can actually visulise the conversation between the two of you.
Another idea, although I do realise I'm probably asking too much, would be to take a photo of the two of you for each podcast (or at specific podcasts) so that the listener can visualise the conversation even better as well as getting a feel of the atmosphere/setting.
Just an idea. :)
I understand second idea may be too much hassle, but I would definately like to see the first one. :)

Ben looks like he's strapped into an electric chair!
Mind you, I can't talk, in my photo on my profile I look like I've had my eyes surgically removed. :o

Heh. Well, on my profile pic, my eyes look crossed. They aren't-- it just looked that way when I shrunk the pic way down.

I just joined (with a different yoga photo....and under "Flexi Chick" as my full name ;D ).
Nice picture, Ben y Marina!
I like how Marina's officer title is "Head Spanish Person".

You should have filtered the picture properly before rescaling. :P

Gee, how stupid of me. I don't guess they call you el Listo for nothing.
So, can you fill us in on that procedure?

Not really sure what he is on about either! :) I do a lot of photography and Photoshop work, and if I reduced a photo down to something that small, it would probably be advisable to sharpen it, but filters?

OK Ben, you do look a little tense there but otherwise a good pic of you two. This picture was posted on Catavino.net when you had the barbacue at your place.

Most programs should apply some type of filtering to an image before resizing, but to be sure that you have the image you want, you can do it yourself. If a signal is recorded digitally, it has to be sampled at so many locations. In audio signals, this means the sample rate has to be sufficiently high to capture all of the frequencies needed. If you look at some of your mp3s, you might notice that the ones with the higher sampling rates sound better.
In graphics, itīs exactly the same, except the frequencies are spacial frequencies and you have to take into account two dimensions.
The images on the bottom are taken from Wikipedia and illustrate my point. The one on the left doesnīt filter the image before resizing, the one in the middle uses a basic filter and the one on the right uses a good one. If you need any more information on it see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing
