Has anyone seen any of these spots on television? They're part of Spain's new campaign to promote tourism and will apparently be broadcast in 40 countries.

Yes I've seen them a few times, I'm pretty sure that they were shown during the Champions League commercial breaks in the U.K (god knows how much that must of cost). The ads have been on the Yahoo.co.uk homepage on and off for the pat 3 months. Apresencia pointed them out to me in March.

I saw those adverts a while ago and became inspired to write my own little version; the tagline really summarises how I feel about Spain.

A veces, descubres las cosas más hermosas cuando uno menos las espera. No necesito planes fijos. No necesito hablar las lenguas que conozco bien. No necesito teléfono o feisbuc. Necesito volver al país que amo. Necesito España.


As for Los Clones TV, I love how the Spanish automatically put an "e" in front of English words beginning with "s". Espain, estarbucks, espotify. ;D

Consonant clusters are notoriously difficult for Spanish speakers.
