Hi Everyone,

I stumbled across this website today while I was looking for some podcasts to download. I was really impressed so decided to join!

I have only just started to learn spanish, and though the intermediate podcasts are still a little advanced for me, I have managed to pick out a few words here and there. However I guess just listening to spanish being spoken is going to be a great help.

It's amazing how much listening to spanish can advance your learning. I think every language has its own "flow", and even written spanish seems to make more sense once you can imagine it spoken.

True! The more you listen to Spanish being spoken, the easier it will become to memorize words, for instance. After hearing them over and over again they will become stuck in your memory. Listening to Spanish is also great for your pronunciation skills. But nothing beats speaking Spanish with a native speaker! :)
