after living here for a year and a half now its easy to get use to it. having spent last week in Britain it reminded me why i love Spain so much.
here are just 10 reasons why!

Dave Hodgson 10 things i love about Spain (in no order of popularity)

1 the weather, mild bright winters and red hot summers
2 the food, tapas, chorizo and pitufos
3 outdoor life, sitting outside in the evenings
...4 fiestas, the Spanish love of having fun and recreation
5 the family, still very important to the average spaniard
6 the spanish positive outlook on life
7 Spanish culture, history etc
8 spanish music especially flamenco guitar
9 the language, its so rythmic and passionate (especially here in andalucia)
10 the football always a good atmosphere whilst watching the match (especially when Spain win)

11 You are never far from open, beautiful countryside, hills, mountains.
12 The friendliness of the Spanish people.

I can't think of any reason to leave spain at all. I am so happy here and pity those who can't live here permanently!!!
Don't necessarily agree with the "mild" winter bit. Minus eight for a week last December was a mite chilly. Number one for me will always be the friendliness of the Spanish people. What impresses me most is their almost insatiable lust for knowledge. I doubt there's one I know who isn't involved in some form of out of work education.
