Hello, I am glad to find this forum via internet. To learn Spanish is a big challenge for me, because I just begin with ABC  Hope to learn this musical language :) See you later!

Welcome f.f. http://smileys.sur-la-toile.com/repository/Grands_Smileys/3d-coucou-salue.gif
We have not had many people from China join us, so we look forward to hearing your view of the world. As you speak english you will find many similar words in spanish - but beware the "false friends" where a spanish word looks like the english one but means something different.
You'll find a lot of useful links throughout the forum for hearing spoken Spanish plus the podcasts, especially useful if you have a non Spanish teacher!

Yeah, you are quite right. Not only in English but in Italian there are many similarities . I think it may be because all of them are originated from the Latin Language, German as well(right?) I will remember your advice :forget English when I study Spanish ;)
So far I can communicate with you just in English , which is hard . Spanish isn't popular in my country, but with the development of economy many businessmen find it urgent to launch branches in China. In the past years Spanish has been used widely, especially in the east . Many students want to learn Spanish , but they find the materials are very limited. Only a few of universities have Spanish courses. :( I really hope you can open courses here if possible. :D
OK, thanks for your welcome! Adios :p

Hi ff, What kind of videos would you like to see?
By the way, do many people listen to podcasts in China?
