Depends very much on what you call good weather! :) The hottest, without doubt, will be July and August, and in places like Sevilla and Madrid, can be 40 degrees plus. Uncomfortably hot! To me, good weather means something considerably less than that, and as a consequence, we prefer to go in May and Sept/Oct, when the weather is nice and warm, but without being unbearably hot. We were there a few weeks ago, end of Sept, and it was 28/29 degrees. Also bear in mind that the temperature will vary a lot throughout the country, obviously a lot cooler in the north, than say, Andalucia.

Prefiero 25 - 30 grados, y mucho sol, poca lluvia. Mayo o junio en el norte de España? Abril o mayo en el sur?
I kind of forgot how big Spain is from north to south. Here, for example, in the Winnipeg which geographically is close the center of North America gets extremes from -40c in January to +40c in July so you would likely not want to be here at either extreme.

Estoy de acuerdo con Frank.
Sin duda los mejores tiempos para ir a España son junio, julio, septiembre y octubre (.....pero sin la lluvia.....ja ja ja)

As a keen amateur photographer, I like April and May for the spring flowers. This year in May in Andalucia, the poppies especially were very impressive, and everything is still nice and green. My wife sat in the car looking bored , whilst I was scrambling into fields everyhere looking for a few more shots. It was worth while, as I have sold a load of photos of poppies since we have been back. Just having a 30"x20" printed on acrylic for myself now, it's a good material to print on. Spring is a nice time of the year in southern Spain, especially out in the campo.

well it has been a beautifully sunny day today in Barlcelona. Arrived this afternoon for a few days work (sometimes I do love my job) and have been wandering around in a t-shirt all afternoon. What a change from the grey skies of Northern Europe - it still feels like summer here in October!!!!

Come to sunny Holland! :D :D :D
Hmm... at a second glance, I think our Indian summer is over too... the forecast for next week: chubascos, chubascos y más chubascos... but we shouldn't complain, September and October were great!

Its sunny here in the NE of England at present but we often get all four seasons in a single day :o :'(
.....this makes life a little difficult for the forcasters so we just ignore "el pronostico" and get on with what we want to do!

Thin yourselves lucky if you get some rain although maybe not all at once.
Here in S.E. Spain it is in very short supply and the reservoirs are almost empty. Wonder if the cheap airlines will allow a bigger baggage weight so tourists can bring their own water!

We go to the south of spain in May/June and Sept/Oct to avoid the worst ravages of the sun.
We visit Barca in Jan or Feb and the weather has always been semi shirt sleeve weather (14-16°C) in the sun but I know thats not reliable. Trouble is if you sit for a coffee and your knees get in the shade you soon start to seixe up - on balance its always better than here!!

What a great job you've got Guapo if you can enjoy the nice October weather during the afternoon. I'm stuck in an office until 18:30 here in Barcelona and it's already starting to go a bit dark outside :(
But you're right, it does feel like summer over here for me too! I spent the whole of Saturday on my roof terrace, in blazing sunshine and not a cloud to be seen! Perfect! ;D

Bit of a typo there, were you trying to say seize up or sex up? ;-)

I spoke too soon. It has started raining now. I am convinced that there is a rain-cloud that follows me anytime I go on a trip :(
