Since this is my first posting I want to send a heart felt hello from New York City, USA !!:thumbs-up:

I have been studing and researching the life and times of the great spanish painter, Diego Velazquez, for many years.

I would love to chat with anyone interested in continueing this search with me. Hopefully, someone who lives in Madrid. But it could be anyone.

Yes,I have been to Spain many times for vacation and to study this artist.

Hoping this is the start of another journey, adios. Julio

Pity you aren't in London, an exhibition of his works has just opened in the National Gallery, with paintings from around the world. The Prado musuem has lent about eight works, plus many more from various other galleries. It would be a great chance to see a lot of his works all together!
