Ok so we all love the NFS crew! But I´m addicted I can´t function without a podcast in my ear. Today for the first time in a long time I ran out of podcasts! Listened to them all and now I´m cooking dinner sans podcast!

So what else do people enjoy? I´m pretty eclectic myself:

Wait Wait don´t tell me!
Winecast
grape radio
Daves Lounge
Groove radio
Slate Daily and Explainer
Science friday

help me give the me the good recommendations in the Genres of? science, geek, food and wine, culture....

If you like TWIT you could try John C Dvoraks Cranky Geeks (available as video podcast but you can get audio version too) or Amber McArthurs Inside the Net

The Gillmore Gang (http://gillmorgang.podshow.com/) is another veeery geeky one that I'm enjoying at the moment.

Radio Open Source (http://www.radioopensource.org/) is good for US politics and world news.

In Our Time (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/inourtime/) from the BBC, a different cultural/science/historical topic each week.

well your missing Catavino radio for a start!!!

For tech and science I also listen to the BBC World Digital Planet and PRI World Technology podcasts also GeekBrief.TV and the Daily Source Code.

Best video podcast has to be TikiBar.TV

Loving the Cranky Geeks! IN our time and Radio Open source are favorties that for some reason I go in spurts listening to them. Gillmore gang is interesting though I'm still trying to figure them out!

Thanks for the tips and feel free to post more suggestions. I highly suggest Slates Daily Explainer Podcast, always an interesting question answered...

One of the latest episodes (http://www.radioopensource.org/iraq-october-2006/) of Radio Open Source, on the situation in Iraq, is really worth listening to. Depressing, but harsh reality often is.

I listened to one of their podcasts and, quite possibly, it was a dull episode, but it didn't engage my interest for long.
