Here's a blogpost detailing our New Year visit to Sitges
Great place - all except for the one bar
The Long and the Short of it (http://gtcc.blogspot.com/2006/01/long-and-short-of-it.html)
The tapas at the seafront chiringuitos are to be well recommended .
Theres the best busker I've ever heard playing classical guitar outside the palace behind the church (Ive been twice he's always there...)
Theres miles of flat promenade and if you're really lucky and you go out when its dark you may be treated to the spectacle of dog surfing - this is a guy on a skateboard harnessing the power of two boxer dogs to propel him along at about 15-20 mph!!
We stayed at The Antemare and had our New Years Eve there - 7 courses including filet steak and lobster... Gill says next time we have New Year in spain she's taking her own grapes - the ones provided were massive and have pips - I seemed to manage though, yeah, I know - big mouth!!!
