In moments of utter despair and boredom, and with the internet at my finger tips, I turn to a Firefox add-on called Stumble Upon (http://www.stumbleupon.com/).

Basically, you select a range of interests, and these are recorded. In firefox there is a button that says "Stumble!" and clicking this takes you a random web page or website, based on the preferences you have expressed previously. The pages are chosen based on the ratings of people and you can add new pages with your ratings so that others may stumble upon that website in time. There is also an option to choose which language to stumble in.

While stumbling today I found:

http://es.gizmodo.com/ Which offers an irreverent look at the world of technology in Spanish. Its good for learning colloquial vocabulary and things.

And I found this http://www.proverbia.net/ too. It has lots of proverbs in Spanish. I'm not sure if they're all originally in Spanish or translated into Spanish, but nonetheless there are proverbs covering all ranges of subjects.

So, for firefox users out there, start Stumbling and report back to us to see what interesting Spanish sites we can find out there
