Star Trek Remastered

The old series has been given a face-lift (http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/news/article/25295.html), though I haven't caught an episode yet. What are your thoughts on this? Nothing wrong with making an old classic look even better if you ask me. I'll be curious to see how well it turns out.

I am happy with remastering anything so long as no-one goes "Spielberg" and tries to change the essence of the thing being remastered and kill off the original.

I´m all for it. With the televisions the size of arm chairs and high definition discs of today you can pick out all the bad imaging that wasn´t so noticable before, all the more to enjoy now I say.
