Hola de Hamburgo, Alemania

Hola, me llamo Tracy y soy de los EEUU, pero llevo doce años viviendo en el norte de Alemania (muy cerca de Hamburgo). Había estudiado español en la universidad en EEUU, pero aquí no tengo oportunidad de practicar. Como se dice en inglés - "use it or lose it!".

Ya he estado en España varias veces y me encanta. En marzo voy a España otra vez para dos semanas. Pienso en hacer un curso intensivo de español, pero todavía no sé.

I found you while browsing through the podcasts on iTunes. I had just got my first iPod and was just looking to see what was out there. About the same time I had also decided that it was time to brush up my Spanish. So, it was a perfect match! From there, I found my way onto the forum - and here I am...

By the way, the podcasts were very helpful in getting back into Spanish and I really appreciate the conversational approach. Audiobooks and the like help with general listening comprehension, but it's still a written style presented in audio format, whereas the podcasts are real conversations. Thanks! :thumbs-up: I'd really rather not speak like a book. ;)

I think itunes sends a lot of people our way, which is great! Glad the conversations work, the idea was always to keep it real, so it's good to get feedback like this.

Por fin una respuesta (better late than never?). Perdón - hace mucho (demasiado) tiempo que no he visitado el foro.

Sí Hamburgo está muy bien - es una ciudad muy interesante con mucho que hacer y ver - no se puede aburrir en Hamburgo!

"como llevas el tema del aleman" No lo he entendido bien. Qué quiere decir esto exactamente? Si hablo alemán o me queda difícil o algo así?
