Two of the hardest working girls in my office are separately planning to visit Barcelona with their husbands. :lovers:
The first will be there for 2 nights from 12-14 March and they want to see 'a bit of everything, really' from their base right by Las Ramblas. I took that to mean Camp Nou, museums, cathedrals, parks, markets etc. Nice tapas bars and restaurants, too. Any fiestas?
The second is staying for 4 nights from 28 March. She would include all of the above, especially places of architectural interest. Fiestas?
I know you're out there just bursting to share your ideas, so please reply. Any links to your Barcelona phots (flickr?) would be appreciated. :thumbs-up:

Hi Deano,
This blog post is a good start, and has plenty of ideas within the comments section.

Hardly a fiesta but aren't England playing Andorra in the Lluis Companys (aka Olympic Stadium) on March 28th? Went to Andorra-Ireland once in FC Barcelona's Mini Estadi, got in the home end on a freebie. The Elvis impersonator and the chat I had with an Espanyol fan (PJE) were more interesting than the game. There were only a couple of hundred Andorra fans there (if that). Glad to see Gibraltar got rejected by Uefa, now that would have been taking the piss!

The rapid response team are out today - thanks guys. Still interested in other comments, though.
When I last went to Barcelona we arrived on a Wednesday and went straight to Montjuic for tickets for the weekend's Espanyol-Madrid match (4-2 to Madrid, some sublime Ronaldo and Zidane's last decent game). When we got to the taquilla we found out that there was a game that evening - Spain v Peru - so we got tickets for that, too. Didn't kick-off until 10:00 and we were frozen at the end. :o
