The average person watches a little over four hours of TV a day, according to a report in today's El Mundo (http://www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2007/03/01/comunicacion/1172750739.html?a=9226ef1866a7f79b7121e16dc29be1b4&t=1172837976).
Can it be true? Most Spanish people I met claimed not to watch much or any TV, so there must be a few making up for everybody else.

The 'average Spanish TV viewer' is in her 70s and watches Saber y Vivir and the other tripe on daytime TV. I think the average older woman in Spain will watch TV at least eight hours a day, which would bring the average up considerably.
