Second Life/Virtual Ibiza

I think it would be great to have a virtual meeting of NFS members in "Second Life." If you're not familiar with this concept, visit http://www.secondlife.com. It's a free download, and account creation (also free) doesn't take too long.

There is a place within Second Life called Ibiza - I'm not sure if it approximates the real thing, but it would be wonderful to meet there!

I've set up meetings in Adobe Breeze before for NFS members - it worked OK, but the difficulty is setting a particular meeting time (since we have members from all over the world). We could set a particular time for those close to GMT and another for those in North America, perhaps....

Thoughts? If this post does not belong here, I apologize! Please feel free to move to the appropriate location.

What sup with the meeting in Second life?. I have been into it even Sun has had their meeting in there.. Time for us to meet..

Actually it might be an idea as it would allow real time chat between us. Perhaps a better idea would be the plain old chatroom...
