¿Has plantado un árbol alguna vez? ¿Qué opinas del dicho español sobre plantar un árbol, escribir un libro y tener un hijo?

You might mean "Tripulación".

The papers use "equipo" a lot to mean team.

My understanding is that tripulación relates to the whole crew of an aircraft or ship; la tripulación de un avion o un barco, or un miembro de la tripulación.
I've always treated equipo is a fairly general term for team - especially in the sporting context.
Luliladewyoming - in what context do you mean crew team?

Yep, Equipo is a good one. "Crew team" puts me in mind of a Flight crew though, hence Tripulación stood out for me. I´ve never heard Tripulación used to describe, say, a team working in an office for example, so it depends on the context of what the question is aimed at.
Edit: Just seen Eldeano´s reply after writing mine. So please don´t think I have OCD about repeating what others say :-)
Who said that??? jeje

:blush:Sorry, guys. I wasn't very clear on this. I meant the type of sculling or crewing Ben was talking about when he and Marina walked around, describing Radley. In the U.S., we call it the "crew team", that is the women or men out in the boats with the coxswain, shouting/marking the beat. Thanks en adelante.
