Hey all,

Now that I have managed to recover from Fallas, I've crawled over to mi portátil para compartir a few of my experiencias de la fiesta de Las Fallas, if you are at all interested.

Rather than write a novel here, I'll direct you to please visit the last few entries of my blog at www.spartanedge.com/blogs/spartanedge24 (http://www.spartanedge.com/blogs/spartanedge24%29) which includes a video of la crema of the Michael Jackson falla!

Also, a few entries back I wrote about my trip to Granada and Córdoba, so you get a bonus ;).

Interesting set of Blogs and glad you enjoyed the Fallas. Too many people for me! I watched the ofrenda on Punto Dos TV channel which shows both days of it. They bring over 50,000 bouquets of carnations to build the dress and the paper said there were over 100,000 people involved in the whole thing so it is some feat of organisation!
The gypsy caves near Granada look like houses from afar but that is only the frontage. We got to look inside one and they are in fact a series of caves hollowed out from the hillside, equipped with the usual necessities for modern living. They stay at a constant 19 degreees all year round.
Keep on enjoying Spain - you'll have memories that last the rest of your life
