Well, it's finally official. Add my name to the list! I'm moving back to Spain! It seems there's a real exodus out of the States and across the Atlantic.

We've sold our condo and the plane tickets are purchased. My husband Nacho is moving next Wednesday, March 28. Our plan is for him to stay with his folks for a month or so while he finds a job (fingers crossed) and an apartment to rent. Then I'm flying out May 4 to join him.

We'll be filing my papers for residency and a work visa once I get there. Anybody have any tips on that?? I plan to teach some classes with some old students that I still keep in touch with. Just a few classes to get me through the summer... I figure the farther into the summer we get the harder it would be to find a "professional" job - what with jornada intensiva and the whole month of August... but, if anyone needs a civil engineer let me know!!

I lived in Madrid before, but under different circumstances - the no-visa English teaching way. This time will be different and I CANNOT wait!!!

Too bad I'll miss the GME by just a couple weeks!!
