An English pal of mine is considering moving from Alicante province to Cordoba. I've been there a few times as a tourist and I think it's a great city but I don't know much about it as a place to live. Does anyone else?
Is there a big Brit community, how are house prices, how cold and nasty does it get in winter etc?

For house prices, check out www.segundamano.es (http://www.segundamano.es) Look under Inmobilaria in the Cordoba area.

Chris just curious how you ended up in Culebron, work, retirement, wild fun.
I know it must be in a thread somewhere but I guess I am too lazy to look it up.
Be interest to hear your stories.....

Culebron, land of plenty, "buen vino, y fuerte".
We had designs on Spain, we wandered from coast to coast, Extremadura was my favourite but the Leon/Burgos area we liked too. But when it came to cold reality and we sold the house in the UK to fund the move we realised we were going to be poor so we needed a job. My skills were useless in Spain (at least without much better Castellano than mine) but my partner could get a job as a teacher. In the timescale the job that turned up was in Elche and that's why we ended up in the area. Cuelbron was a price thing.
