Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus) died in Valladolid on May 20, 1506. Still convinced that his journeys had been along the east coast of Asia. :o

His remains were moved around quite a bit. Valladolid to Seville, then to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and finally to Havana in 1795.

Guess you could say the man was a traveller, even to his bones. :D
