Poco me falta para entender "faltar" . . . ojalá

I came across this little phrase today:

"poco me faltó para caer" . . . does that mean "I was really close to falling."?

And can it be used in other ways . . .

Poco me faltó para terminar la tarea.
Mucho nos falta para llegar al aeropuerto.
¿Te falta mucho para graduarse?

Also, I know faltar can be used in several different ways-phrases . . . Care to share them?

'Lo que me faltaba...' - usually accompanied by a loud sigh, this means 'Just what I needed now...' (meaning what you didn't need, of course!)

For example, you have a huge amount of work to do and see the chatty mother-in-law pulling up outside in the car (I'm not talking about mine of course!)

Ojala significa maybe or hopefully, depende del contexto. Por ejemplo: Ojala que no haga falta tiempo para la proxima tarea. En ingles seria: Hopefully there won't be lacking (enough) time for the next task.
