Hola,

I enjoyed the pod cast. Again I like the chemistry you two bring. Marina, do you wonder if you missed your calling? It seems like you have a knack not just for cooking but also for presenting recipes. Congrats on your increasing notoriety as noted by the end of the pod cast.

Si siguen asi, tendran su propia emisora de television ;).

I don't know if I can judge as I did prepared it. But you can imagine that after playing padel for one hour in intense heat (35 Celsiuos more or less), and loosing mostly every point:'(, eating a refreshing gazpacho was the best possible thing to do.
Also it is a healthy option full of vitamins!!!

Interesting-looking game! It looks like a mich-mash of tennis and racquetball. Looks like you have to run. A lot.

You do if you play singles - that's a killer, but doubles (which is more common) isn't so strenuous.

In padel, can you play off the back and side walls like in racquetball?

Ben

Yes, you can.

Hola Ben,

Can you send us some sunshine as well as some delicious gazpacho? Yesterday, it was 11 degrees Centigrade in Utrecht. :'(

Gracias

Edith

Marina,

Excellent recipe- we tried it last night. The only thing I would change next time is to check the strength of the onion- ours was very strong, and it dominated the taste of the gazpacho.

It is important to note that 1 onion is listed in the ingredients, but only half is used. The other half is for the "pispirris". This is for a medium size onion, if the onion is big use only a quarter.

As I said in the podcast it is better to try with small quantities of everything (except tomatoes:) of course) and taste before continuing.

Good luck next time!!!
Marina.

I had Gazpacho today, though it was at a pub type place famous for it's reuben's, Burghoff, it was ok, but it wasn't very spicey. Almost like it can came out of a can or something, i will have to make your recipie sometime

I hope some posters don't just order gazpacho when in the Valencia Province!
They might get a shock, gazpacho Valenciano is nothing like the gazpacho Andaluz that's described here, it's more a winter dish and can be served as a main course or starter!
