Definitely had a great time. My first night in Madrid we hooked up with my Spanish buddy and he took us out to a Basque restaruant. I ordered a steak which came two parts one the size slightly bigger than a filet mignon then much to my surprise another one after that. Between my friend and I we washed down three bottles of wine and then after dinner had the brilliant idea to go to some other bar in Madrid. Oddly this bar is where my buddy romanced his Ex-wife. I wasnt sure if we went there for him to celebrate the divorce or curse the bar. But after several gin and tonics later I realized well I had quite enough at staggared back to the hotel and crashed.
