i would like to attempt to practice spanish on skype, but at the moment i'm not set up, i also need to buy a good headset.
You will need alot of patience with me because i need to improve my speaking and listening.

I speak with quite a few, although Spain is on holiday now, so they nearly all have disappeared for a month! There are plenty of other better places to find someone to talk with, there are forums that are dedicated to doing just that.
Try this one (http://www.sharedtalk.com/) for a start, you can put in whatever ages you want, I'm sure you'll soon find someone there. I find I'm having to turn some people down, there are that many looking to swap English for Spanish. I had another 2 contact me yesterday, much as I'd love to chat with them, I'd be chatting all day!:)
