As we start to think about setting up house, buying appliances is a daunting task. This week, Carrefour has some really great sales on electrodomesticos (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, etc).

Does anybody have any kind of experience with Bluesky appliances? Fagor? Aspes?

We have a very good Bluesky tv with built in freeview, also a Hassel (sp?) washing machine. We do find prices higher in our area (Alicante area) than in the UK however. Seize the opportunity if you see good prices in the sales!

IMOP....

Bluesky is their own make, equate it to any other own brand, functional but not brilliant.

Fagor, We have a few small appliances all seem OK.

Aspes, We have an electric hob & oven (came with the house) Personally I hate the hob almost impossible to keep it clean. Ovens Ok but temperature control is naff..

Most other goods we have bought are well known brands which generally seam better made ;)

Beaware of buy the fantastic computer bargains. Unless your technical Spanish is top notch, you could have no end of problems & if you change everything to English (as in the operating system) your guarantee is invalid.

Don't forget to check out MediaMart as they also have some good buys.

Thanks, SuziQ. In the end, we ended up getting the Bluesky stuff thanks to the excellent pricing. At present, price is the deciding factor.

I will be building any PC that I purchase, and using the Spanish Operating Systems, anyway.

Thanks again! :)
