Was it ever popular in Spain? Did Capitan Picard cruise la galaxia with Comandante Riker en el Enterprise? Quizad los otros incarnaciones de Trek?

Where I'm at in the US, you can catch Dr Who (the original) sometimes late at night on weekends. I used to watch them about *cough*20 yrs ago*cough* on a daily basis. (I like the Tom Baker series best)
They have a "modern" Dr Who on the Sci Fi Network here, but I don't get that channel, so I haven't seen it yet.

It's been revived in the last couple of years in the UK with two new doctors (not at the same time). Not sure it will make it to Spain either though (Doctor Quién?).

Dr. Who is playing in the time slot alotted for Battlestar Galactica, while it's on hiatus. I haven't seen it. I always had ST to satiate my tv Sci Fi Jones.

Hi, of course it was shown here, I'm 25 now and I remenber seeing it since I was a kid (my syster used to watch the "classic" series with captain kirk dubbed in Catalan :D...) and we have been watching it for years since then. I lost my interest in watching the new series so I don't know if it's being shown now..

One thing is for sure no one talks about Star Trek in Spain. If you bring it up most won't have a clue what your talking about. I remeber the Simpsons being kinda popular in Spain.

I don't think what you say about Star Trek is true at all... it's possible that younger people don't know much about it but i don't believe at all that older Spanish people in their twenties and more didn't heard or watch it some time, I just don't believe it , probably marina is with me on this point :)
The simpsons are very popular because they are being showed now and, for many years before, during the lunch time which is the main meal here :)
greetings

I agree with intrepida you have to be at least her age to remember. My brother used to watch but I was never interested on it.
