Hello all,
I have moved to Santander five months ago from Serbia to live with my husband who got the job here, and we are intending to stay and live here from now on. After I finished my Spanish course, which unfortunately lasted only 3 months, I have spent most of my time surfing the internet and searching for any valuable information about life in Spain, especially here in Santander, reading forums like this one, trying to learn Spanish on internet and so on. Finally I decided to post here and after I searched for posts about Santander, I found that there aren't so many(actually, there are just a couple of them). And I'm starting to think about moving to some other major cities here, what I'd probably do, but for now we're stuck here because of my husband's job which is going quite well for him.
Anyway, I just wanted to ask you people if there is some advice any of you could give me on what there is to do in Santander, concerning sightseeing, cultural events, concerts here...and how about possibilities to find a job here(I have been working as an English teacher and a translator in Serbia).
So far I have just been looking on the net and asking around, I think I am waiting to learn Spanish a little bit more.
So, anyway, if there is someone who lives here or knows anything about Santander, please give some advice. Any answer will be highly appreciated.
