Living in Alcalá de Henares

Hello,

Recently I got a job teaching in Alcalá de Henares this fall. I know nothing about it, except that it is in la Comunidad de Madrid. Does anyone have any information on where to get housing rental? Is this a suburban area? Any information about this area will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums :)
Alcala de Henares is a really nice town abut half an hour from Madrid by train. It has a well-known university, so should be pretty lively, and lots of classic old buildings. All in all a very nice place to get a job! I'm not sure about housing... maybe the people that you are going to work for can give you some pointers... or Marina may have some ideas. - Ben
