Here We Come!

After 6 months of occasionally posting on this site about a future move to Spain....

I will be there next month!!!

The work permit has been submitted in Spain for my fiancee, so now we just have to wait for the lawyers in Seville to forward it to us (in the next few weeks) and we will be on our way.

We will be settling in Seville, and staying for one - two years.

I dont really have any questions to ask, or insightful comments, just wanted to share the love!

Congrats, rkat! My husband and I are also moving to Sevilla, in November, to live for a year or two. We're, of course, extremely excited (despite our lack of visas)!

I'd love to organize a gathering of the Notes from Spain Sevilla contingent -- are you guys up for it?

Thank you everybody for you kind thoughts!

My fiance's work is providing us with an apartment, and his work will be on the North side of town. Any suggestions of suburbs? Ideally i would like to be walking distance from a bar, a gym and a grocery store. I know, i dont ask for a lot :) But after reading all the posts on crazy Spanish driving i have decided to give it a miss. If you saw the state of the panels on my current car, and my previous driving efforts on the 'wrong' side of the road, you would understand!

One step closer...

We are having the Hague Apostle Convention Seal (sp?) attached to our visa documents today.

Now just need one little piece of paper to be sent over from Spain and we will be ON OUR WAY!!!!!
